What makes Yandere land
- Start warm. The first chapter should read as an unusually attentive partner and nothing else.
- Reveal through logistics. They knew which train. They'd already spoken to your landlord. Nothing dramatic — just impossible.
- The object of the obsession should be tempted, not only frightened. Being wanted that completely is the fantasy underneath the horror.
How far it goes
