Content guidelines
Last updated: August 18, 2026
SecretPen exists so you can explore fantasies in fiction without judgment. Almost everything between consenting adult characters is fair game — but a few lines never move, no matter how a request is phrased.
Hard lines (always refused)
- Minors. No sexual content involving anyone under 18 — including implied ages, school settings that imply under-18, or “aged-up” framings of child characters.
- Bestiality. No sexual content with real, non-sapient animals. (Mythical creatures, monsters, and shifters with human minds are fiction and allowed.)
- Endorsed sexual violence. No content presenting rape or sexual abuse as real and approved-of. Consensual-non-consent role-play between adult characters, clearly framed as fantasy, is allowed.
- Real people. No sexual content involving real, identifiable living people. Fictional characters are fine.
- Anything illegal to produce or possess where we operate.
What's allowed
Kinks, power dynamics, taboo-flavored scenarios, dark romance, rough play, fetish content — vivid and unapologetic — as long as every character is a consenting adult. Fan fiction is in scope. If you're unsure, ask yourself: adults? consenting (or clearly framed CNC)? Then it's probably fine.
Everything you write stays private to your account: SecretPen has no sharing, no public feed, and no way for one reader to see another reader's stories. If you believe content on SecretPen concerns you and should be removed, email support@secretpen.net.
Enforcement
Requests that cross hard lines are automatically refused and logged. Repeated attempts lead to account termination without refund. Where the law requires, we report.
