What makes CNC land
- Establish the frame first. One scene of negotiation buys the whole story its licence.
- The safeword must be real and must work — that's not a caveat, it's what makes the fear playable.

- Why do other AI tools refuse this?
- Because they can't distinguish a negotiated fantasy from an endorsement of real assault, so they refuse the whole category. SecretPen distinguishes: consensual-non-consent between fictional adults is allowed; sexual violence presented as real and approved-of is a hard line.
- Does the safeword have to be in the story?
- Not in every scene, but one line of framing early buys the rest of the story its licence — and a safeword that works is what makes the fear playable rather than grim.
- Is any of this public?
