Taboo story generator
A taboo story generator writes forbidden-feeling fantasy between consenting adults — the wrongness, the secrecy, and wanting it anyway.
Taboo is a flavour, not a category — it's whatever your particular life makes unthinkable. What makes it work in fiction is the specific social cost: who would find out, what it would end, what can never be un-said. SecretPen writes that cost, because the danger is the entire appeal. Every character is an adult.

Three openings to steal

Nobody can ever know
We agree on the rule before anything happens: this ends the day either of us says it out loud to anyone. We are both extremely serious about it, and neither of us stops.

At the family table
Eleven people around the table, and the two of us have to be entirely ordinary with each other for four hours, and she keeps making it harder on purpose.

The one person
There is exactly one person on earth who would understand and forgive it, and she is also the one person who can never find out.

What makes Taboo land
- Name what it would cost. Vague wrongness is weak; a specific casualty is strong.
- The secret-keeping is a scene of its own — lying well to someone you love.
- Wanting it despite understanding it fully is hotter than not understanding.
How far it goes
Forbidden-feeling fiction between consenting adults: affairs that would end a marriage, a friend's spouse, a boss, someone from the same small town, arrangements nobody could ever explain, and the whole genre of wanting something whose cost you understand completely. Every character is an adult and nobody is a real, identifiable person — inside those lines SecretPen writes the wrongness without apologising for it or lecturing you halfway through.
How it works
01
Say it in one line
One sentence is enough. Who's in the room, and what has already been decided between them.
02
Set the dial
Tone, heat, point of view, length. Or skip it — the defaults are tuned for people who'd rather just read.
03
Keep going
Chapter one arrives in seconds. Steer the next one, change your mind, or let it run.
Nobody else reads this.
SecretPen has no public feed, no community rankings, and no way for one reader to see another's stories. Whatever you write here stays in your account — that's the whole point of the name.
Start writing →Questions
- What actually gets refused?
- Anyone under 18 in any framing, real identifiable living people, real non-sapient animals, and sexual violence presented as real and endorsed. Everything else between fictional adults is in scope.
- Will it moralise at me?
- No. If you ask for a story where nobody is caught and nobody regrets it, that's the story you get.
- Is any of this public?
- No. SecretPen has no public feed, no community rankings and no sharing — there is no mechanism by which one reader can see another reader's stories. Everything you write stays in your account.
- How explicit does it get?
- As explicit as you ask for. There is no fade to black and no lecture. The only limits are the hard lines in our content guidelines: everyone is an adult, nobody real, nothing illegal.
- Do I have to pay to try it?
- No. You can write your first story free. Paid plans exist for people who write a lot of them.
