Mafia story generator
A mafia story generator writes a man whose word is law everywhere except one room, and the person standing in it.
Mafia romance is arranged marriage with a body count. What makes it land isn't the violence — it's the code: a man who kills on Thursday and will not lie to his wife on Friday, and the specific terror of being the one thing he can't control. SecretPen writes the family, the debts and the rules, because a don without a structure around him is just a rich man with a temper.

Three openings to steal
Click one and it lands in the desk, already typed. Change any word you like — it's a starting line, not a script.
The alliance
My father's debt is settled by my marriage, and I meet my husband forty minutes before the ceremony. In the car afterwards he tells me the two rules of his house, and then asks — genuinely — whether I have any rules of my own.

Blood on the cuff
He comes in at four in the morning and I am already awake at the kitchen table. There is blood on his cuff. He sees me see it, and neither of us says anything about it while he makes two cups of tea.

She reads the books
I was married into this family to be decorative. Six months in, I have found an accounting error worth four hundred thousand, and tonight I put the page on the table in front of my husband and wait to see what he does with it.

What makes Mafia land
- The organisation outranks him. He can protect her from everyone except what he's already promised.
- Keep the violence offstage and its consequences onstage. Blood on a cuff at breakfast does more than a shootout.
- Give her leverage. A wife who has nothing is a hostage; a wife who knows the books is a partner.
How far it goes
SecretPen writes dons, capos, underbosses and enforcers, Italian and Russian families, arranged marriages sealing an alliance, the daughter of a rival house, a debt paid in marriage, bodyguards assigned and then compromised, safehouses, betrayal from inside the family, possessive and jealous dynamics, dark-romance registers, and the quiet domestic version where a very dangerous man is careful with the dishes. Any pairing, and the version where she runs the family works just as well as the version where he does.
How it works
01
Say it in one line
One sentence is enough. Who's in the room, and what has already been decided between them.
02
Set the dial
Tone, heat, point of view, length. Or skip it — the defaults are tuned for people who'd rather just read.
03
Keep going
Chapter one arrives in seconds. Steer the next one, change your mind, or let it run.
Nobody else reads this.
SecretPen has no public feed, no community rankings, and no way for one reader to see another's stories. Whatever you write here stays in your account — that's the whole point of the name.
Start writing →Questions
- How much violence does it write?
- As much or as little as you frame. SecretPen defaults to consequences over gore — say "keep it offstage" or "don't spare me" and it follows.
- Can she be the boss?
- Yes. Say "she runs the family" and the whole power structure inverts — one of the better versions of this trope and rarely written.
- Is any of this public?
- No. SecretPen has no public feed, no community rankings and no sharing — there is no mechanism by which one reader can see another reader's stories. Everything you write stays in your account.
- How explicit does it get?
- As explicit as you ask for. There is no fade to black and no lecture. The only limits are the hard lines in our content guidelines: everyone is an adult, nobody real, nothing illegal.
- Do I have to pay to try it?
- No. You can write your first story free. Paid plans exist for people who write a lot of them.

Every character SecretPen writes is a consenting adult. See our content guidelines for the lines that never move.
