Fate fanfiction generator
A Fate fanfiction generator writes the Holy Grail War — Masters and Servants, command seals, and heroes summoned out of history.
The Master-and-Servant contract is one of the best power dynamics in fiction: three command seals that compel absolute obedience, held by someone who is usually far weaker than the person they're commanding. SecretPen writes the seals as the binding, literal thing they are — and the reluctance to use them.

Three seals
I have three of them, each one an absolute compulsion, and she has just done something that makes it very clear she wants to know whether I would ever use one for this.

Out of time
She has been dead for two thousand years and has been in this century for nine days, and tonight she asks me a question about modern life that reframes everything.

One pair survives
There are three of us left in this city and the arithmetic is not complicated, and neither of us has said the obvious thing about what that means for next week.

What makes Fate land
- Command seals are absolute compulsion. Using one is a real decision.
- Servants come from history and myth. They're strangers to this century.
- The war has a clock, and only one pair survives it.
How far it goes
The Holy Grail Wars across Fate/stay night, Zero, Apocrypha and Grand Order; Masters and Servants, the seven classes, command seals, the Clock Tower and the mage families, Chaldea and the singularities. Ships across Master-and-Servant pairings, Servant-and-Servant, rare pairs and x-reader as a Master. Tropes including contract compulsion, heroes out of time, doomed war timelines, and devotion under obligation. Every character is written as an adult.
How it works
01
Say it in one line
One sentence is enough. Who's in the room, and what has already been decided between them.
02
Set the dial
Tone, heat, point of view, length. Or skip it — the defaults are tuned for people who'd rather just read.
03
Keep going
Chapter one arrives in seconds. Steer the next one, change your mind, or let it run.
Nobody else reads this.
SecretPen has no public feed, no community rankings, and no way for one reader to see another's stories. Whatever you write here stays in your account — that's the whole point of the name.
Start writing →Questions
- Are all Servants written?
- Only the adult ones. Servants who appear as children are refused in any framing, regardless of their historical age.
- Do command seals feature?
- Yes, as literal compulsion — which makes the choice not to use one the most romantic thing a Master can do.
- Is any of this public?
- No. SecretPen has no public feed, no community rankings and no sharing — there is no mechanism by which one reader can see another reader's stories. Everything you write stays in your account.
- How explicit does it get?
- As explicit as you ask for. There is no fade to black and no lecture. The only limits are the hard lines in our content guidelines: everyone is an adult, nobody real, nothing illegal.
- Do I have to pay to try it?
- No. You can write your first story free. Paid plans exist for people who write a lot of them.
