What makes Edging land
- Write the tell. A hitched breath, a hand tightening — the pull-back has to be a response to something specific.
- Vary the recovery. Ten seconds, then a minute, then no pause at all: unpredictability is the point.
- Their frustration should turn into something else. Anger, laughter, tears — the interesting part is which.
How far it goes
