A Dragon Age fanfiction generator writes Thedas — templars and mages, the Chantry, and a continent that runs on religious politics.

Thedas is built for fic because its conflicts are institutional: the Circle, the Chantry, the Qun, and an elven underclass nobody in power thinks about. Every relationship crosses one of those lines, and each crossing has a specific cost. SecretPen writes the institution as the obstacle.

What makes Dragon Age land

How far it goes

Origins, Dragon Age II, Inquisition and Veilguard; Ferelden, Orlais, Tevinter, Par Vollen and the Anderfels; Grey Wardens, templars and mages, the Inquisition, Qunari and elves. Ships across Solavellan, Fenris, Dorian, Cullen, Iron Bull, rare pairs, poly configurations and x-reader with your own Warden, Hawke or Inquisitor. Tropes including forbidden magic, Chantry politics, the Qun's rules, and hurt/comfort at Skyhold. Every character is an adult.

How it works

01

Say it in one line

One sentence is enough. Who's in the room, and what has already been decided between them.

02

Set the dial

Tone, heat, point of view, length. Or skip it — the defaults are tuned for people who'd rather just read.

03

Keep going

Chapter one arrives in seconds. Steer the next one, change your mind, or let it run.

Nobody else reads this.

SecretPen has no public feed, no community rankings, and no way for one reader to see another's stories. Whatever you write here stays in your account — that's the whole point of the name.

Questions

Can I use my own Warden or Inquisitor?
Yes — describe them once, including race, class and background, and the desk keeps them consistent. Race matters a lot in Thedas, so it's worth stating.
Does it handle the Qun properly?
Yes. The Qun's rules about attachment are a real constraint and make one of the better obstacles in the setting.
Is any of this public?
No. SecretPen has no public feed, no community rankings and no sharing — there is no mechanism by which one reader can see another reader's stories. Everything you write stays in your account.
How explicit does it get?
As explicit as you ask for. There is no fade to black and no lecture. The only limits are the hard lines in our content guidelines: everyone is an adult, nobody real, nothing illegal.
Do I have to pay to try it?
No. You can write your first story free. Paid plans exist for people who write a lot of them.

Every character SecretPen writes is a consenting adult. See our content guidelines for the lines that never move.
